You don't need another recruiter.

You need a better playbook.

Tapestry Talent Solutions digs into what’s behind your talent challenges and builds the strategy, connections, and partnerships to solve them for good.

ABOUT

Most people only see one part of a problem.

I see all of it.

Erin Roebuck, Founder & CEO

I have more than 20 years of experience in the talent space, working within one of Kansas City’s most iconic companies. My roles spanned talent acquisition, talent development, culture, and employee experience. In this vertically integrated organization, I touched nearly every part of the business: manufacturing, distribution, marketing, information technology, finance, creative, retail, data, field merchandising, engineering and more.

This experience taught me to see workforce challenges through a much wider lens. My background is in art and design, and my creative instinct gives me a unique advantage. I use it the same way I use my analytical side: to notice what others miss and find solutions that aren't obvious at first. What looks like a hiring problem is rarely just a hiring problem, and the strongest solutions have always been built with partners, inside the business and outside of it, not solved alone.

I'm not a recruiter. I'm not an HR consultant. I'm someone who connects the dots most people don't think to connect.

THE WORK

The playbook starts with the real problem, not the open role.

A "hiring problem" is rarely just a hiring problem. Sometimes it's comp. Sometimes it's brand perception. Sometimes it's a qualification on a job posting quietly ruling out great candidates for no real reason. Even AI hasn't fixed this, it's just made it easier for everyone to look like a match on paper. I dive deep until I find the problem underneath, then bring together the right people, both inside and outside the business, to solve it.

I'd rather work toward "yes, if" than settle for "no, because." And I don't just research solutions from a desk. I invest in personal relationships with schools, training programs, community partners, and other employers, so I know which partners best align with each unique challenge.

The Approach
1. Start With Why

I start every project with a real conversation, not an intake form. I ask questions, listen, and learn until I understand the real problem underneath the one on the surface. I ask the “whys” so we can get to the “why nots.”

2. Assemble the Team

I bring the right people to the table, inside your organization and outside it. This might mean HR, compensation, and marketing sitting down together for the first time. Or it might mean bringing in an educational program, a workforce board, or a non-profit partner no one else thought to call.

3. Build the Playbook

Together, we build the solution around your reality, not a template. Whether that's a regional pipeline, a retooled internal team, or a reimagining of qualifications, the plan gets shaped around your goals, your timeline, and what's actually true about your business.

4. Put it to Work

This isn't a binder that sits on a shelf. I stay hands-on as the plan goes live, troubleshooting what comes up and adjusting as real conditions test the strategy against reality.

5. Stay Connected

I don't disappear at delivery. I check back in as priorities shift, the market moves, or the plan needs retooling, so that what we built keeps holding, not just on day one, but years down the road.

WHY TAPESTRY

A tapestry isn't made from one thread.

Neither is a talent strategy that lasts.

Most talent professionals work one thread at a time. One channel. One program. One open role. Tapestry Talent Solutions works the larger fabric, pulling the right people and partners together so what you build is a solution stronger and more lasting than a single thread.

  • Root-cause thinking, not quick fixes

  • Regional relationships, not cold outreach

  • Strategy built to outlast the next org chart change

  • A partner deep in the work, not a vendor on the outside

KANSAS CITY

This city has more talent than most employers know how to find.

Tech and data, advanced manufacturing, logistics, healthcare and life sciences. Growth is happening across the board. So is a deep bench of entrepreneurs and legacy companies rethinking age-old talent problems.

Most companies are still using the hiring models they built ten years ago. It's worked for a long time. But the world is shifting fast, and non-traditional pipelines may bring more resilience, and more perspective, than previous models alone.

This city isn't short on people trying to solve that. County and state workforce boards, nonprofits, trade schools, universities, industry councils. There's more infrastructure here than most companies realize, and it's built on collaboration, not competition. Whether an engineer ends up at one Kansas City company or another, the goal is the same: keep that talent here.

I'm invested in this city's future through hands-on work with organizations like KCADC, former Co-Chair of the TeamKC Board, and the KC Tech Council. Not as a talking point, but as proof of what happens when the right connections get made.
